đŠ Congratulations to Professor Dr. Anisur Rahman Anis on his reappointment as the Chairman of the Department of English.
Professor Anis is widely respected for his academic vision, leadership, and unwavering dedication to student development. Throughout his previous tenures, he has driven a series of impactful initiatives that have strengthened the departmentâs academic foundation.
During his previous tenure, Dr. Anis refurbished the departmentâs ICT lab, seminar library, and the gallery. Dr. Anis also organized seminars with professors from U.S. universities for students aspiring to pursue higher studies abroad. He played a pivotal role as the chief advisor in establishing the MBSTU English Alumni Network and continues to serve as the chief advisor of the MBSTU English Language Society, where he worked tirelessly to revive the club.
Last year, Professor Anis also arranged the departmentâs very first student excursion to Sylhet, creating learning experiences for the students beyond the classroom.
We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved reappointment and wish him continued success as he leads the Department towards the betterment of the nation.
