To meet the growing need of skilled personnel and to face the challenges of the global competition in apparel and textile trade, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) has la

unched the 4 year under graduate program entitled ‘ B.Sc in Textile engineering’ under the faculty of ‘Engineering and Technology’ since 2005.Every year about fifty students can take entrance after completing the H.S.C program from science background. At present more than 240 students are studying in different years and semesters. The department is trying to collaborate with the reputed University, textile research institutes or organizations in home and abroad. An advance training program would be commenced with the partnership of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and National Institute of Textile Research And Design (NITTRAD) in the department within a very short span of time.
