🚀 Step into the world of AI with the Antwerp Young Minds!

Join us for our next AYM lecture with Levi Slap (Director Data & AI at AG Solution and lecturer at KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts).
Levi will introduce Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models, followed by a hands-on session where we’ll train a neural network to recognize numerical digits.

🚀 NEXT EVENT: Visit to Jülich Research Center

From supercomputers to nuclear fusion — see where science is shaping the future!

If you are a 2nd or 3rd-year physics Bachelor student at UAntwerpen- Physics, this is your chance to join us!

At the Jülich Research Center (Forschungszentrum Jülich), science covers a huge range of topics. On this trip, we’ll get a closer look at two of them:

⚛️ Supercomputing & Quantum Computing
We’ll tour their world-class supercomputing facilities, where Europe’s most advanced supercomputers are located, and learn about ongoing research into quantum computing.
🔥 Nuclear Fusion & Plasma Physics
We’ll also be guided through the Plasma Physics Laboratory to get a glimpse of the TOMAS project, focused on building the future of nuclear fusion reactors.
