Exciting progress on the DevOps Academy project! We recently gathered in Lomazzo, Italy, preparing for the next big steps in the project!
DevOps Academy is a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, with a mission to build an innovative, inclusive training programme for Sustainable DevOps professionals. Our goal: to open the doors of the tech industry to everyone, especially women, career changers, and those without a traditional IT background.
Key milestones reached:
✅ Final draft of the Competence Framework for Sustainable DevOps Professionals agreed by all partners;
✅ Training programme structure validated: a modular, progressive, ~28-week programme with two tracks (fast-track & standard) to suit different learner profiles;
✅ Training content structure defined across four pillars: DevOps Fundamentals, Cloud, CI/CD, and Automation, plus a new AI literacy module;
✅ Quality assurance and validation roadmap confirmed;
✅ Communication & dissemination strategy reviewed and moving forward.
At Odisee hogeschool, our role is to shape the training programme structure: our proposed longitudinal, part-time learning model forms the backbone of the DevOps Academy curriculum.
