At the Universitetet i Bergen, we welcome refugees to apply for a range of courses with the start date already in January 2023. This possibility comes as a consequence of The Ministry of Education and Research (Kunnskapsdepartementet (Norge)) temporarily changing admission requirements to opening for refugees without Higher Education Entrance Qualifications.

We are proud to offer free, world-class higher education to refugees

The University of Bergen welcomes refugees to apply for admission. On this website you will find study offers for refugees, and other relevant information for prospective students.

🔬Science, lobbies and the environment 🌳– join us in Brussels for a seminar marking the 60th anniversary of Rachel Carson’s "Silent Spring" on Tuesday the 6th of October 14.30-17:30. Together with Corporate Europe Observatory and the BeeCaution Project, the University of Bergen is honored to co-host a half-day seminar about the frontiers of regulatory capture and environmental conflict.

We owe to Rachel Carson’s book "Silent Spring" the birth of the environment as a subject of public discourse and policies.
