The documentary SLOW DOWN is an inititiave from MODESIGN ACADEMY's Director.

It talks about the production of clothes in Brussels with a focus on .fashion, .berckmans and

Produced by the motivated team of , it gives you a view on the so important behind the scenes workshops to see how clothes can be assembled.

But can all the clothes sold by Brussels designers be produced in Brussels? That's another question.

Few months ago, one of our former student from the Certificate in Luxury Management, launched her own bag's brand : LOTHA.

With a marketing background, she was willing to launch a clothes brand but she discovered, during our 6 months program, that making bags was also nice.

In fact, we teach brand & product management in this program through the making of a bag which is easier than making clothes because we work with a leather studio NYIONA and that bags are regarded as luxury products.

And you know what, the bag you see now is a perfect version of the project she made with us and you can now wear everyday.

Congratulation Raïssa for this wonderfull achievement of your dream come true and we are so proud of this signature you have developped which is perfectly what your DNA is.

Big news : MODESIGN ACADEMY is teaming up with le CENTRE VIDEO DE BRUXELLES to produce a 26' film-documentary about factories/small ateliers in Brussels producing for designers!

You want to be part of this adventure starting on September 12th?

There are 3 FREE OF CHARGE possibilities with NO PREREQUISITES :

- Option 1 : from September 12 until mi-november you join the team from Monday to Thursay (10.00 to 4.30) to go through all the steps of conceiving, shooting and editing the documentary.

- option 2 : you are at school so you join the team every Wednesday afternoon from September to November

- option 3 : you join the team the first week (September 12th) to write the script and the last week of October (starting on Monday 24th) to analyse the rushes.

AT MODESIGN ACADEMY, we believe in Management AND creativity.

This collaboration with LES PETITS RIENS is a very good example of how a disruptive pedagogical approach can lead to a successful project.

Zoé is only 17 years old, is creative but not in a creative school, and wanted to make a difference.

In only 4 x 1 hours of online classes with our creativity expert Dominique Gringoire, she managed to develop a strong creative project.

Then she got the original shirt to be upcycled from les Petits Riens and adapted her original ideas to the technical constraints.

She also was the creative director for shooting with Gael Maleux

And now her project is in store with this limited edition.

We believe everybody can express its creativity

We believe everybordy can manage any kind of projects

With good guidlines & dedicated experts.
