Odysseus Academic Network The Academic Network for Legal Studies on Migration and Asylum
in Europe (known as the Odysseus Academic Network) founded in 1999 by Prof. Philippe DE BRUYCKER.

The academic network for legal studies on immigration and asylum in Europe, was created in 1999 upon the initiative of Prof. It brings together legal experts from almost all EU Member States, as well as from Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Turkey. The network aims at analyzing the legislation and policy of the EU and its Member Sta

tes in the areas of immigration and asylum. The objective is to provide to academics, policy-makers, legal practitioners, IGOs and NGOs a deeper insight into these issues from a European perspective. The working languages are English and French.

PhD Seminar — Day 3 🎓

The Odysseus Summer School also creates space for young researchers to present and discuss their work with the academic community.

During the first PhD Seminar, participants explored timely research projects on:

📌 Climate change adaptation and migration externalisation in North Africa
