A week learning to navigate together.
Last week, SITU students joined the European Resilient City camp in Le Havre as part of our Erasmus+ project STEP — Strategies for Transformative Education for Art in Public Spaces.
For one week, students and teachers from École Supérieure d’Art et Design Le Havre-Rouen (France), Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (Portugal), Fontys Academy of the Arts (Netherlands), Kunstuniversität Linz (Austria) and ArBa-ESA - Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles (Belgium) came together to share workshops, experiments, site visits and discussions around art, design and public space.
Working with reclaimed materials, exploring alternative practices, learning from each other: the camp offered an opportunity to experience public space as a place of collaboration, experimentation and transformation.
Many thanks to , .lh, , the guest speakers, Joanna Wong, artist, and Frédéric Denise, architect, and all participants for making this week possible.
🇪🇺 STEP is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
