Europe, nation, migration: the triple challenge of "integration"
🎤 Keynote speaker: Adrian Favell (University College Cork), Professor of Social and Political Theory, Fellow of the British Academy, and author of The Integration Nation. His work has shaped scholarly debates on European integration, migration, and mobility for more than two decades.

The lecture will be chaired by François Foret (President of the IEE-ULB) and followed by a discussion featuring Paula Gobbi (Director of ECARES) and Julien Jeandesboz (Professor of Political Science).

The Europe-Asia Forum 2027 invites submissions of papers and panel proposals for its upcoming edition:
Back to the Future? New Challenges and/or Historical Continuities in Political, Economic and Cultural Conflicts. A Comparison Europe/Asia

The 2027 Forum will take place on 9-10 March 2027 at the Institute for European studies, ULB (Brussels, Belgium). The IEE-ULB is pleased to co-organise this edition with EASt (Centre de recherche sur l'Asie de l'Est à l'ULB), ICAS (ULB Institute for Critical Area Studies) and Waseda University.
