Talented Europe was showed at IES Domingo Pérez Minik on 15th February. Eduardo del Reguero (professor of the Department of Information Technology and Communications at CIFP César Manrique) explained the platform in the main saloon of the high school. Professors and students of seven groups attended. They are studying studies like CFGM of Microcomputer Systems, CFGS of Computer Systems and Networks Administration and the CFGM of Multiplatform Applications Development.

An Erasmus Plus project which makes the business of matching top students to job and internship opportunities across Europe much easier

On Thursday 15th November, there was an event quite close to the Talented Europe’ purpose, the “Smartup Final Conference”, the final event dedicated to celebrate the outputs and results of the Smartup project -Bridging the gap between Academia and entrepreneurship.

This project, which is the result of a cooperation effort between higher education institutions, companies, the European Crowdfunding Network and business foundations from 9 EU countries and Stanford University, aims to develop innovative Startup Master & Advanced Reflective Tools through cooperation, based on the idea that students need entrepreneurial competences to succeed: both hard (about and ) and soft and transversal (incl. those for and ).

The event was divided into these main topics:
First of all, there was the presentation of the project with an in-depth analysis of the project’s objectives, results and outputs.
Then, the following thematics were “ Entrepreneurial Culture: being or telling?” and “Quality Assurance in HE today and tomorrow”.
Finally, the event concluded with the presentation of the Smartup Tools created for the students: the two Apps and the Portal.
