The LL.M. is an advanced graduate program which is designed to expand your legal knowledge and expertise in the fast-changing areas of international business law. The philosophy of the LL.M. is to offer a rigorous, coherent and comprehensive program that covers all the core subjects of international business law, with a strong emphasis on practical experience. Thanks to an outstanding teaching staff composed of top academics who also practice law in Brussels and abroad, we can give you the competitive edge to take your career to the next level. The program also provides flexibility to the students, who can choose two elective courses amongst the extraordinary rich offer of law courses at ULB. They can write their LL.M. thesis on a topic of international business law of their own choosing, with the assistance and supervision of the LL.M. teaching staff. is a full-time program which runs from October to June. The courses are divided into two semesters, with exams held in January and June. The students are also entitled to a resit session of exams held in late August – early September. candidates who successfully complete the program are awarded a Certificate of LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Brussels (ULB), which is recognized by the competent Belgian Academic Authorities (Communauté française) within the framework of the program of continuous education. The program includes 8 core LL.M. courses:
The 8 Core LL.M. Courses are reserved for the LL.M. students. They provide the primary teaching load, covering the main areas of international business law. The students will benefit from a small class size, close relations with the ULB teaching staff and group camaraderie amongst the LL.M. students.

2 optional courses:
The 2 optional courses may be selected from any of the courses that are taught in the law faculty of ULB. Either in English or in French, including courses from the Institute of European Studies. students can capitalize on the truly remarkable curricular and methodological diversity offered at ULB. and a LL.M. thesis
The LL.M. is structured on the European credit system. Each course (compulsory and elective) enables the students to earn 5 credits, for a total of 50 credits. The remaining 10 credits are earned with the Master’s thesis. Co-Directors:
