WE-Team is a global master program joining textile engineering students, staff, hosting universities, and industries together. The full-time program originates from AUTEX, a global network of high-level textile universities, founded back in 1994 and is an updated version of a previously existing international master program, E-Team. The concept is quite unique - no other world network offers a pla
tform of such academic expertise, facilities, and geographical coverage in the textile field. Contentwise, the students get advanced, broad, and contemporary insights in the textile domain, brought by the best academic specialists. The first semester covers materials, the second one manufacturing technologies, the third one applications. These three semesters are hosted at a different member institution, including one outside of Europe (Japan). The last semester is dedicated to the master thesis and the student has the freedom to choose where to go, from the list of all member institutions. In the end, the master students are awarded an Erasmus Mundus joint/multiple degree (EMJMD). The full members of the program include Ghent University (Belgium), Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan), University of Borås (Sweden), University of Haute-Alsace (France), , University of Valencia (Spain), and University of West Attica (Greece). Along with the full members, there is a list of many other participating universities from all around the world.
