We’ve received information about an organisation misrepresenting itself as offering educational programmes in Bruges, Belgium, and being affiliated with VLIR-UOS and ARES. This "Institut de Formations Techniques et Professionnelles " does not exist and is requesting payments for scholarship applications.

🚨 While it’s not uncommon for some institutions to charge fees during an application process, please be aware that this institution is not recognised by VLIRUOS or ARES and does not exist. If you or anyone in your network has been contacted by this organisation, we recommend not proceeding with any payments.

Four African dancers explore the theme of masculinity through a strong, rhythmic choreography that also highlights softness and sensitivity.

INVITATION FOR EVERY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN GHENT

Studies and a student job in Belgium: how does that work?

At OBSG, we're dedicated to support you in every aspect of your journey, including navigating the job market while you're a student.
We discovered that some of the students don’t know their rights or don’t know who to contact when they face challenges during their student jobs.
To prevent this, we are organizing an info-session marathon in cooperation with ACV, the largest trade union in Belgium, for EVERY international student in Gent.
The info sessions are free of charge and you don’t need to register.
The only thing we ask is to fill in this anonymous survey, so we can get an idea about the most common questions and situations.

Museum nights are known as the night when museums present an extremely atmospheric program full of surprising extras.
Lovers of heritage, design and art can enjoy the most beautiful collections and exhibitions offered by the museums until long after normal opening hours.
Museum Night Ghent has been organised since 2007, is always free and takes place on the first Thursday of December. This year, the event takes place on 7 December 2023 from 18:00 to 01:00.

Put Thursday, 7 December in your calendar and enjoy the museums for free.
