VUB B-PHOT is at the FTI Expo in Mechelen!
From 20 October to 7 November 2026, you can discover how photonics is helping to tackle real-world challenges. Two B-PHOT videos are on display at the Expo:
🌱 Photonics for agri-food applications
💧 Photonics for water sensing

🔬 Want to see our labs up close first?
As part of the same festival, we open the doors of the VUB Photonics Campus in Oetingen (Pajottegem) on 16 and 17 October. Participation is free, but registration is required: https://lnkd.in/gk422apx

We hope to see you!

B-PHOT’s metasurfaces recognized as a 2024 highlight by OPTICA!

Koen Vanmol and his B-PHOT colleagues have demonstrated how two-photon polymerization (2PP) enables fast, high-quality 3D nanostructures for advanced metasurfaces. Their work, now featured in Optics in 2024 by OPTICA, showcases high-resolution meta-lenses printed directly onto optical fibers—opening new possibilities for optical measurement and imaging systems.
