Last week our students visited our Latvian colleagues at Banku augstskola.

During this trip we visited multiple national landmarks and learned more about the local culture.

We are looking forward to showing what Leuven has to offer when their students visit Hogeschool UCLL!

Our students have arrived in Chandigarh for their International Week at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Mohali. During this week, they will be working on business plan ideas in groups with the CGC students and other international students.

We wish them the best of luck and bring us some souvenirs😉

Recently we visited Deloitte for the Vlaamse Jonge Ondernemingen - Vlajo Innovation Camp. Together with students from Hogeschool UCLL, KdG - Karel de Grote Hogeschool, Odisee Campus Brussel Thomas More hogeschool and Erasmus hogeschool Brussel. We tackled cases about the future of mobility, gaming and financial health.

This was a very educational day and a great opportunity to network with some other great young minds.

Between the hard work of this week, our students from InnovationLab had organised a friendly indoor football match against our colleagues from studio 8 on Wednesday evening. The match was won by the innovationLab team 🥳.
Thursday was finally the day, the final presentations! Each group looked fantastic and each of them did a fantastic job. Today we ended the last week with a visit to Brussels together with our international colleagues from Finland and Latvia. We would like to thank everyone for the fantastic weeks, the new experiences and the new friendships. Hope to see you soon!

This Monday we welcomed our Finnish and Latvian colleagues to our UCLL campus. We started Monday with a dress rehearsal of our final presentations and ended the day with an active workshop on the topic of 'how to pitch'. Tuesday we started with a story circles workshop and in the afternoon we visited the Health House, where we could see different technological tools. After a walk to Arenberg Castle, we ended the day with a visit to 'de frituur'. Today, we had an interesting guest lecture on sustainable business and in the afternoon we took the train to Antwerp, where we went on a retail hunt.

With a view to next week's international BIP week, the students of InnovationLab have completed their last working days this week. Each team has committed themselves 100% to their case and that is why we want to put them all in the spotlight with this post.

Today the very last Friday meeting for our InnovationLab students took place. In the festival style theme we enjoyed an interesting trend/innovation workshop and now we are looking forward to the last week of our internship.

Today the partner from Chandigarh (India) visited the International InnovationLab. During their visit, we gave them some more information about the various cases that are being worked on. Furthermore, the students are looking forward to the last Friday meeting.

Today, the students had a final presentation on the programme together with their american colleagues. There was also a new Friday meeting with geography as the theme, where they could taste a typical dish from Chile.

This week, the entire InnovationLabs team has been busy with the end of the internship in sight. They have had a busy week with the deadline of their preliminary thesis and with the final presentation with our American colleagues.

Thursday morning we planned to visit the Eriksson fish company. Thursday afternoon we visited some shops that offer different products containing berries. Friday morning we visited a Finnish school and in the late afternoon we ended the day with a boat trip to an island to watch the sunset.
After an instructive, busy, but fun week, our story ends here in Finland, but we are already looking forward to welcoming our Finnish colleagues in beautiful Leuven.

On Saturday, three teams from our InnovationLabs team left for beautiful Helsinki. After a weekend of fun walks and exploring the city, we started our SPRINT week with our Finnish colleagues on Monday. After 2 days of working with them, we are already looking forward to the rest of our international week.
