Leuven Centre for Irish Studies - LCIS The Leuven Centre for Irish Studies is a multi- and interdisciplinary Humanities research centre.

The Leuven Centre for Irish Studies (LCIS), officially launched on the 22nd of March 2010, is a multi- and interdisciplinary research centre of the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. It is the result of close cooperation between the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe.

Information on the LCIS Visiting Scholars Programme for the 2026-2027 academic year is now available online! The programme is open to all researchers (with phd) working on topics related to the LCIS research areas.

If you’re interested in applying for a fellowship, please first consult the following document: https://tinyurl.com/mr2fkuhu. You can then submit your inquiry by email to [email protected]. Those applying for a short-term fellowship should get in touch before the relevant deadlines.
