WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
•A hands-on attorney with experience in trademark and design law and associated branches of law
•Good communication skills and organizational ability
•Client-oriented, flexible and commercial approach
•Able to rapidly assimilate the subject matter and integrate in the team
•Sense of responsibility , stress resistance and flexibility are key
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
•You will advise innovative companies and be directly involved in all aspects of protecting their innovation
•You will have final responsibility for the cases you deal with
•You will advise clients about prior searches and will advise filing of trademarks
•You look after the client's interests in dealing with the Benelux Intellectual Property Office, the Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market and other foreign authorities
•You will handle litigation cases
•Your close links with your colleagues within the GEVERS group will ensure that you are always able to give clients the best possible advice about further possibilities of protecting each innovation
YOUR PROFILE
•Law degree, with additional IP degree are a minimum
•Preferably with experience of 3 à 4 years within a law firm or in an IP company
•With mother tongue Dutch or French and excellent command of English, written and oral
•Responsible, with an eye for precision
•Eager to learn and flexible
•Stress resistant and able to cope with tight deadlines
•Motivated with a positive attitude
•Able to work alone but also in a small team
