The Lessius Eco Drive Team was formed in 2008-2009. The goal was to design and build a vehicle that could be involved in the eco-marathon. In this race, it is not intended to be the fastest, but in order to consume as little as possible over a range of a certain distance. This consumption is then converted to km / l. In the 2010-2011 academic year was made an improved version of the vehicle to par
ticipate in the Shell Eco Marathon Europe. When the race was on an oval track in Germany. In 2012, the Shell Eco Marathon Europe in the Netherlands. More specifically, in Rotterdam and this on a street circuit. The Lessius Eco Drive Team 2011-2012 is composed of five students from the direction of "Design and Production". The goal is obviously to improve the performance of last year (700km / l). All this will not be easy due to the demanding course of this edition. The progress of this project and whether it will be possible to do better than 700km / l can follow here. In 2015, we competed for the first time in the Urban Concept Category with a complete new car powered by an electric motor. In 2016, we will build a new Urban Concept car based on the previous one, but with some changes where needed. This year we chose for it to be powered by a gasoline engine. In 2017 we will make some improvements to the TMUC2 (car of 2015) and start designing a new urban concept car for 2018.
