HOT MINERAL SPRINGS IN BULGARIA

Do you know that Bulgaria takes second place in Europe after Iceland in terms of hot springs existence? This kind of pleasure is quite accessible to the locals. And is also a pleasant surprise for all travellers!

There are over 1600 (!!!) mineral springs, providing all types of mineral water existing in nature. The country is rich in variety of thermal springs - from a cold mineral spring 12 C °🥶 in the spa resort Voneshta voda, to the hottest thermal spring - the only geyser on our Continent with over 100 C ° in the town Sapareva Banya. And from weakly mineralized water (120 mg / l) - excellent as drinking water, to the highly mineralized medical treatment water springs.

Advantages of hot mineral springs&outdoor pools: Unlike the common pools the hot ones don’t contain any harmful chemicals for cleaning the water; the minerals pe*****te the skin naturally, in order to restore cell balance and have their positive effect on a series of human organs and systems within the body. And what is more, there is nothing better than some relaxation in a hot spring after a long and busy week.

Beneficial healing effect: any kind of diseases, literally ANY. But because the composition of the pools is so much different, you need to check first which of the resorts will suite you best. One should also bear in mind that if you suffer from some cardio-vascular disease it’s good to know that the hot water may not be appropriate for you.
