My name is Ragaul, I am in 6th year studying at Medical University Pleven in Bulgaria 🇧🇬 .  Studying abroad has been the most challenging experience in my life so far. The first few years covered non-clinical subjects which allowed me to use my Biomedical Science knowledge from previous degree. Going onto clinical subjects in the next couple years, I was able to expand my medical knowledge and gain insight into exactly how to work in hospital environment. During these years, I was able to take part in IFMSA Exchange Programme and Erasmus Progranme, which developed my ability to work in different hospital conditions in various countries. I look forward to finishing the degree soon and starting work in UK 🇬🇧 ⚕

During this quarantine we discovered lot of thing about ourselves as a doctor. Some develop new hobbies. it's was learning experience for everyone as a doctor. Sometime it was hard,  but gotta adapt it. Guys, we as a doctor have this neuroplasticity to work more than normal human being.
I will share my experience on how to study in our medical life
Now, the big question is how to manage time?
• There is no need to study for 10-12 hours a day.
• 6-8 hours are more than enough if you spend quality time with your books. Here what is important is the quality time when you are studying; you are only studying and doing nothing else. Switch off your phone for those 6-8 hours & fully concentrate on the study. Social media is energy draining vampire.
• Don’t study at a stretch. Study for one and half hour/ two hours and then take a break of half an hour and again start studying.
• You should also keep one day off every week. Break doesn’t actually waste your time but it refreshes the mind and increases your concentration.
• Revision plays a very important role. Daily revision is very important. Before going to sleep quickly revise whatever you have studied the whole day.
• Repeated revision of topics is also required for long-term memory.
