A great day for the UNWE history:
The IAEA designated the UNWE as
an IAEA Collaborating Centre to assist the Agency in the implementation of activities in the field of Capacity Building in Nuclear Security Education and Training for a period of 2025-2029.
At the signing ceremony at the VIC, Vienna, Austria with the IAEA Deputy Director General Ms Karine Herviou, the UNWE Rector Prof Dr Dimitar Dimitrov, the UNWE Director of the Nuclear Security Support Center Prof Dr Svetoslav Spassov, the IAEA Section Head Mr. Rodney Busquim E Silva and Ms Julia Dimitrova from the Bulgarian Permanent Mission in Vienna.
