You will learn more about the origins of this symbol of spring and explore the richness and variety of its designs across different regions of the country.

You will also learn how to make martenitsas and greeting cards to delight your loved ones.

Dear Students,

We are pleased to invite you to the first event of the newly established Centre for Multilingualism at NBU:
Together We Are Stronger: a workshop dedicated to multilingualism, cultural diversity, and volunteering.
In an informal atmosphere, we will exchange ideas about current and future volunteer initiatives and create a meeting opportunity for foreign and Bulgarian students, as well as representatives of various foreign-language teams and communities, and students and lecturers engaged in volunteering and learning through volunteering.

📌 The event will take place at 4:00 PM on December 12, 2025 – ERUA Day – at the NBU Museum (at the lower level of the “Prof. Bogdan Bogdanov” Library building).

Multilingualism is one of the main areas of cooperation within the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) of which NBU is a member.
The workshop is organized in cooperation with the NBU team for ERUA Work Package 5: “Achieving Social Change in Local Communities and Regions.”

You’ll take part in three team games designed to help you meet people, get creative, and have a great time:
