التقت جامعة البحرين يوم الثلاثاء (19 مايو 2026م)، بطلبة برنامج السنة التأسيسية بكلية محمد جابر الأنصاري للمعلمين في جامعة البحرين، وذلك بهدف توعيتهم بمتطلبات النجاح في البرنامج، وتهيئتهم للاندماج في الحياة الجامعية بالكلية.
واستعرض اللقاء متطلبات النجاح في البرنامج التأسيسي، وشروط الانتقال إلى برنامج البكالوريوس في التربية. كما تناول اللقاء عدداً من المحاور من بينها: أسباب تدني المستوى الدراسي لدى الطلبة، والمهارات الأساسية التي يحتاجون إليها، والأخطاء الشائعة لدى الطلبة ذوي التحصيل المتدني، والصحة النفسية وأثرها في التحصيل الدراسي، إضافة إلى كيفية إعداد خطة عملية لرفع المستوى الأكاديمي.
وشارك في اللقاء كل من: الدكتورة لوسي بايلي عميدة كلية محمد جابر الأنصاري للمعلمين، والدكتورة ميرفت عيسى البوفلاسة نائب عميدة الكلية، والدكتورة سميرة أحمد البستكي من عمادة شؤون الطلبة.
The University of Bahrain held a meeting with the Foundation Year Program students from Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College for Teachers, on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. The meeting aimed to raise students’ awareness of the program’s success requirements and to prepare them for integration into college life.
The meeting outlined the requirements for successfully completing the foundation program and the conditions for progressing to the Bachelor of Education program. It also addressed a number of key topics, including: the causes of low academic performance among students, the essential skills they need, common mistakes made by underachieving students, mental health and its impact on academic achievement, and how to develop a practical plan for raising academic performance.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Lucy Bailey, Dean of the Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College for Teachers; Dr. Mervat Isa Al-Bufalasa, Assistant Dean of the College; and Dr. Samira Ahmed Al-Bastaki from the Deanship of Students’ Affairs.
