XII Curitiba Pre-Moot - UP, March 13-14, 2020, Universidade Positivo The Pre-Moot will start on Friday, March 17th, 2017, when the general rounds will occur.

The Curitiba Pre-Moot aims to offer a realistic impression of the pleadings in Vienna, since its structure will consist of general and elimination rounds, culminating in the final argument and a final ranking. The Pre-Moot’s particular feature is that it aims to simulate the precise format of the Vis Moot held in Vienna. On the following day, the elimination rounds and the finals will take place,

as well the Farewell Party. Last but not least, the Curitiba Pre-Moot offers great and intimate networking opportunities with mooties, arbitrators and practitioners of international arbitration and trade law.

In 2019, the Curitiba Pre-Moot reached its 11th edition! Thank to our sponsors, especially our Master Sponsor, CAM/CCBC, arbitrators and teams, Curitiba keeps hosting one of the best Pre-Moots in the world!

The results of the XI Curitiba Pre-Moot CAM/CCBC demonstrate the high quality of the teams.

The general rounds were disputed on March 15th, 2019, when 26 teams pleaded in four succeeding panels during the day.

Eight teams classified to the quarterfinals: UNICURITIBA, UNIPÊ, FGV-SP, UFPR, MACKENZIE, PUC-SP, PUC-PR and UBA. These teams pleaded on March 16th for the Elimination Rounds.

The semifinalists were PUC-SP, UNIPÊ, UFPR and PUC-PR.

The winner of the XI Curitiba Pre-Moot CAM-CCBC was UNIPÊ, who faced PUC-PR in the Final.

The arbitrators of the Final were Mrs. Fabiane Verçosa, Mr. José Miguel Júdice and Mr. Carlos Alberto Carmona.

The ten best ranked oralists were*:

In 2017, the Curitiba Pre-Moot reached its 9th edition! Thank to our sponsors, especially our Master Sponsor, CAM/CCBC, arbitrators and teams, Curitiba keeps hosting one of the best Pre-Moots in the world!

Specifically this year, it is an honor to have the CAM/CCBC Arbitration Rules being applied in the 24th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

The results of the IX Curitiba Pre-Moot CAM/CCBC demonstrate the high quality of the teams.

The general rounds were disputed on March 17th, 2017, when 24 teams pleaded in four succeeding panels during the day.

Eight teams classified to the quarterfinals: Mackenzie, USP, UBA, UFPR, FGV-RJ, UFRGS, PUC-SP and FGV-SP. These teams pleaded on March 18th for the Elimination Rounds.

The semifinalists were Mackenzie, USP, UFRGS and UFPR.

The winner of the IX Curitiba Pre-Moot CAM-CCBC was Universidade de São Paulo, who faced Universidade Federal do Paraná in the Final. The arbitrators of the Final were Mr. Thiago Marinho Nunes, Mr. Fabio Alem and Mr. Maurício Gomm.
