It is a great honor for me to participate as a Plenary Speaker at the 5th Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SoAE 2026), which will take place in Santiago, Chile, from September 28 to 30, 2026.
SoAE has become one of the leading international meetings dedicated to the development of ammonia as an energy vector, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers from around the world.

We’ve just published our first paper on CO₂ electroreduction in ionic liquids by controlling the water content, in ACS Catalysis 🎉 (https://doi.org/10.1021/acscatal.5c04941)
This work is part of my PhD student Primaggio Mantovi’s thesis — he did an excellent job! Huge thanks to all our collaborators, and here’s to many more papers to come! 🙌
