[CAM-CCBC PRE-MOOT SÃO PAULO] [EIGHT-TIME CHAMPIONS] [SEVENTH AND EIGHT PLACES IN THE GENERAL ROUNDS] [HONORABLE MENTIONS FOR BEST ORALISTS]

Last weekend, our Vienna and Hong Kong teams participated in the CAM-CCBC Pre-Moot São Paulo, hosted by TozziniFreire Advogados.

Repeating last year’s outstanding result, PUC-SP prevailed among the 24 participating teams ( -to-back!), making us eight-time champions of the CAM-CCBC Pre-Moot São Paulo! 💛💙

We would like to thank all the teams and arbitrators for the panels in both the general and elimination rounds, especially USP SanFran for the high-level final round. We would also like to thank Caroline Kleiner, Carlos Forbes and Fernando Serec, the arbitral tribunal for the final round.

A big shout out to our speakers Lara Farah, Mariana Carreira, Henrique Padilha and Wendell Hossu, as well as our incredible team members – in special Stefany Arantes, along with our amazing coaches!

Bonus: In the general rounds, our teams were ranked as the 7th and 8th best teams, meaning that both would have advanced to the elimination rounds if permitted.

And a very special note: Mariana Carreira and Henrique Padilha received Honorable Mentions for Best Oralists of the Pre-Moot, making their coaches and fellow mooties extremely proud!

Our next stops: Kyoto 🇯🇵 (Hong Kong Team) and Curitiba 🇧🇷 (Vienna Team). Stay tuned for more updates!

[XIV RIO PRE-MOOT] [SECOND BEST ORALIST]

On February 7th and 8th, PUC-SP Vienna and Hong Kong teams participated in the XIV Rio Pre-Moot. After a series of outstanding pleadings, we are thrilled to announce that Mariana Carreira was ranked as the second best oralist of the competition!🥈

[XII SOUTO CORREA PRE-MOOT] [PUC-SP FIVE-TIME WINNER]

We are very proud to announce that PUC‑SP was the winning team at the XII Souto Correa Pre‑Moot!! What an incredible way to begin our journey to the 33rd Vis Moot and the 23rd Vis East Moot!

With this victory, we are now five‑time champions of the Souto Correa Pre‑Moot, having reached the final round for the past four consecutive years.

[XVI COMPETIÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE ARBITRAGEM DA CAMARB] [QUARTAS DE FINAL] [TERCEIRO MELHOR MEMORIAL DE REQUERENTE]

A PUC-SP participou da XVI Competição Brasileira de Arbitragem da CAMARB. Nossa equipe se consagrou entre as oito melhores universidades do País e nosso Memorial de Requerente foi premiado como o terceiro melhor da Competição!!

Nos dias 3 e 4 de outubro, nossa equipe participou da XI Regional Sul, última competição preparatória antes da .

[PUC-SP Results in the 2024/2025 Vis Moot Season]

After six months of hard preparation, our team, represented by PUC-SP law students Carolina da Paz, Mariana Carreira, Victoria Schalch de Souza and Henrique Padilha in Europe, and Leticia Crestana, Gustavo Sanchez and Wendell Hossu in Asia, once again showcased an outstanding performance in the 2024/2025 Vis Moot season!

So it’s time to celebrate and share these results with those who support and cheer for our team:

- 22nd Vis East Moot: Secured a Top 16 position 🌟 out of 153 participating teams, with accolades for both the Claimant and the Respondent Memoranda 📜 Leticia Creatana and Gustavo Sanchez also secured Honorable Mentions for Best Oralists 🎉.

- 32nd Vis Moot: For the first time in our team’s history, competing with over 380 other teams, PUC-SP was awarded as the first runner up for the Werner Melis Award for the Best Memorandum for Respondent 🥈.

- Brazilian Pre-Moots:
🥇1st place in the XV CAM-CCBC São Paulo Pre-Moot (for the seventh time)

[XVII BELGRADE PRE-MOOT]

PUC-SP participated in the XVII Belgrade Pre-Moot, our first stop in Europe in the route for the 32nd Vismoot!
