" The Thematic Week of Academic Health is a project of The Núcleo de Assistência Estudantil em Saúde (Student Assistance Center for Health – Naes), linked to the Pró-Reitoria de Assuntos Comunitários e Estudantis (Dean of Student and Community Affairs – PROACE), that aims the prevention, the promotion of the students’ health and the improvement of their life quality in the academic environment."

"The Extention Project 'Flute, Sweet Instrument', created with the purpose of “offering music initiation opportunities that involved some of its theoretical, historical and practical elements besides using the recorder as a melodic instrument to develop the sensitivity to listening, implementation and creation of musical work”, was an initiative of a team from the Dean of Community and Student Affairs."

" The Pró-Reitoria de Extensão da Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (Dean of Extension of the Federal University of Triangulo Mineiro – PROEXT / UFTM), through the Complexo Cultural e Científico de Peirópolis (Cultural and Scientific Complex of Peirópolis – CCCP/UFTM), informs that the registrations for the Programa de Treinamento de Estudantes Universitários (University Students Training Program – Proteus) are opened. This year’s edition will be held between July 11st and 15th, with a total of 40 hours of activities."

"The Centri – Junior Enterprise Department of UFTM established a partnership, on May, with the Uberaba Division of the independent and international organization Engenheiros sem Fronteiras – EsF (Engineers without Borders – EwB). The movement, created in France on the 1980’s, has grown and spread to many countries, making it necessary the creation of a unifying network. The organization aims at stimulating the trade of ideas among several institutions and connecting the professionals so they can contribute to the creation of a new generation of engineers, more concerned with social causes and engaged even more in the world scenario."

"O Centri - Núcleo de Empresas Juniores da UFTM começou uma parceria, em maio, com o Núcleo de Uberaba da organização internacional independente Engenheiros sem Fronteiras - EsF. "Between May 29th and June 3rd, UFTM will attend the annual conference and exhibition 'NAFSA: Association of International Educators' in 2016 in Denver, Colorado, USA. The 2016 event’s main theme will be: 'Capacity building for global education'. This is the third UFTM participation in the world’s largest international event, with approximately 12,000 participants and 4,000 educational institutions."

"Members of the project ‘Reading and Writing as resocialization factor’ set up a campaign to collect books in order to begin reading actitivites with prisoners from the Penitenciária Professor Ignácio de Oliveira (Penitentiary Teacher Oliveira Ignáacio) in Uberaba – MG.
The University Extension Project is under the supervision of the professors Marinalva Vieira Barbosa e Juliana Bertucci Barbosa, and includes the participation of UFTM Letters’ students."

"The first Robotics Tournament, which took place yesterday at Univerdecidade, attracted competitors in the region. Four teams, of the fourteen registered, were classified for the competition, being “Mavericks” from UFTM; “Parafuso Semicondutor” (Semiconductor Screw) and “Roboss” from Cefet Araxá and “Brutos” (Crude) from Faculdade de Talentos Humanos de Uberaba (Uberaba Faculty of Human Talents)."

"The UFTM Department of Geography course held the first Biogeography and Conservation workshop on May 30th and 31st at the Auditório Safira (Auditorium Saphire) in the Rectory building. The target audience is Geography, Biology and Environmental Engineering undergraduates, but it is also open to the community."

"On the morning of May 21st, the 1st edition of the Hospital das Clínicas-UFTM (Clinical Hospital of UFTM) initiative took place in the neighborhoods. The action happened at the Centro Municipal de Educação Avançada (Municipal Centre for Advanced Education) in Abadia district and brought free health exams and orientations to the population. The expectation is that, throughout the year, other disctricts in Uberaba will be covered by the project."
