From Bosabosele Training College to the Global Stage 🇧🇼🌍

Bosabosele Training College Student & Student Representative Council (SRC) President, Khumo Bame Gaotewe, had the privilege of representing Botswana at the 2nd Global Technical Meeting of the Global Partnership Forum on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), held from 22–24 September 2026 at the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), Kenya.

The meeting, co-convened by UNFPA and UNESCO, brought together global partners, policymakers, practitioners and young people to discuss “Monitoring, Evaluation and Evidence for the Impact of Sexuality Education.”

Her participation provided an opportunity to contribute to global conversations on comprehensive sexuality education, youth participation, evidence-based programming and inclusive approaches to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

As SRC President at Bosabosele Training College, her participation reflects the importance of youth leadership and the role young people can play in shaping conversations, influencing decisions and contributing to development beyond national borders.

From student leadership to global advocacy, proudly carrying the Botswana flag and amplifying the voices of young people. 🇧🇼🇰🇪🌍
