We are extremely proud to announce the official launching ceremony of the "Breaking Barriers: Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Level 2 Inclusive and Sustainable Apprenticeship Training in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and Electrical Installation!" which took place on Friday, May 22, 2026.
During this special event, we officially presented our 20 Belizean apprentices and unveiled the official Breaking Barriers banner to announce the commencement of this grand and historic initiative for the OWITVET and Belize!
Our objective is to equip and prepare these 20 apprentices with the elite, practical skills needed to supercharge their employability.
These 20 individuals will make history as the FIRST-EVER cohort in Belize to receive their CVQ Level 2 Certification in these two high-demand trades, making them fully equipped and ready for immediate workforce entry!
This is the beginning of many more great things to come for the OWITVET. We are breaking barriers, setting new standards, and ensuring a successful future for our youths and our economy!
