National AccessAbility Week (May 31 to June 6) recognizes the contributions of people with disabilities and highlights the importance of reducing barriers in our communities. It also raises awareness of accessibility issues and inclusion.
This yearโs theme, โBuilding a Stronger, Accessible Canada,โ highlights the ongoing work involved in creating more accessible learning, working, and community spaces.
At UFV, accessibility resources and supports are available through the Centre for Accessibility Services (CAS), Accessible UFV initiatives, and the Teaching & Learning Centreโs accessibility and inclusive teaching resources.
These resources support accessible learning environments, adaptive technology, inclusive course design, and barrier-free access across campus.
