Located in the heart of the Fraser Valley in beautiful Abbotsford, BC, Columbia was founded in 1936. Columbia has a storied history of graduating students that have gone on to establish influential ministries and successful careers, all while sharing the Gospel and love of Jesus with others. As one of the premiere Christian institutions in Canada, Columbia offers a holistic education that’s rooted in Scripture and augmented by a socially relevant curriculum and enriching practical applications. Fully accredited through the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), Columbia offers a variety of Bachelor of Arts Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates. At the core of everything we do is the drive to prepare students to go out into the world and make a difference in the lives of those they serve through the vocation that God’s called them to. We believe the best way to do this is by equipping students with a well-rounded education and providing diverse opportunities to develop their gifts, while discovering new abilities and discerning the path God has planned for them.

Orientation is often the beginning of something transformative.

Parents consistently tell us they're grateful for the strong community found at CBC. Being surrounded by peers who are passionate about following Jesus creates an environment where faith grows, friendships deepen, and lives are shaped for years to come. 💙

Meet Teagan, a recent BA Psychology graduate who recently completed her internship! 🎓

“My internship experience contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth. It provided an opportunity to observe therapeutic practices firsthand, learn practical tools for navigating grief and loss, and develop a greater understanding of how to connect with individuals who are grieving. I was able to draw connections to the psychology courses I had taken at Columbia Bible College and apply concepts I had learned in the classroom to real-life situations.”

We love seeing students gain hands-on experience that equips them for meaningful work after graduation!
