Keyano College is a public, board-governed college operating as a Comprehensive Community Institution under the authority of the Post-Secondary Learning Act of Alberta. Keyano plays an active role in Campus Alberta by collaborating with other post-secondary institutions to increase access to learning opportunities for students in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Through it's two campuses

of Fort McMurray and Fort Chipewyan and it's two Learning Centres located in Fort McKay and Gregoire Lake, Keyano provides a variety of learning opportunities through classroom, online and blended delivery models. Keyano also serves a wider learner population through its involvement in education consortia and a variety of industry partnerships. As a Comprehensive Community Institution responsible for regional stewardship, Keyano College also collaborates with post-secondary educational institutions, community adult learning providers, business, industry, school districts, Indigenous communities, and other organizations to ensure access to a broad spectrum of learning opportunities. Here at the Gregoire Lake Learning Centre, we offer a variety of courses and workshops under the Community Adult Learning Program.

Our Story

The Gregoire Lake Learning Centre is located on the Fort McMurray No. 468 First Nation, on Highway 881, in the trailer east of Petro-Canada. Services are available for all residents of Alberta. There are various Learning Centres throughout the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Contact us today to find the location closest to you! You can contact the centre at: Phone: 780-334-2559 The Centre is open for daily programming Mondays to Thursdays. Apart from its campuses, Keyano operates Adult Learning Centres in the communities of Gregoire Lake and Fort McKay. Each Centre has well equipped learning spaces, computer access, and library materials.The Learning Centres also serve as a Community Access Point (CAP site) for the eCampusAlberta and Alberta North initiatives. The Outreach program includes: Community Adult Learning Program (CALP) Pre-GED/High School Basic Computer Literacy Life Skills In-classroom instruction is available to full and part-time students, and opportunities exist for distance delivery through Internet and videoconferencing.
