The Faculty of Science and Technology offers an innovative spectrum of learning and teaching activities in our undergraduate and graduate programs and courses. Students can experience learning in areas of computing and information systems, architecture and science. The Centre for Science delivers concentrated on-site laboratory activities at various locations in Alberta, Canada. We are excited wit

h the recent expansion of state-of-the-art laboratories at our Athabasca campus. In addition, we offer home laboratories in some courses, where students can participate in exercises that complement their coursework without having to attend formal campus-based sessions. In partnership with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the RAIC Centre for Architecture offers Canada’s first online architectural program. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Architecture (PBDA) is the academic component of the program and will allow qualifying students to follow a practice-based path that will prepare them as architects of the future. The School of Computing and Information Systems offers undergraduate and graduate programs. Students can experience learning in areas of computing and information systems, artificial intelligence and gaming design. Many of our dedicated researchers are regarded both nationally and internationally, and the outstanding innovative research they do spans many different areas. Explore our research area to learn more about this vital component of the Faculty of Science and Technology. Our initiatives include advancing science awareness and creating learning opportunities within northern Alberta Aboriginal communities. We take pride in our offerings and calibre of academics and invite you to explore the many learning opportunities available within our Faculty.

ARBRI is an innovative interdisciplinary research centre that studies the Athabasca River Basin and its people from a broad range of perspectives.
Are you interested to learn more? On March 17, 2022 we are hosting ARBRI Day.
This event will outline how the Athabasca River Basin Research Institute has grown and how we plan to continue its revitalization and expansion. As a new university-wide research hub, ARBRI will adopt a new focus on interdisciplinary research. Members from several faculties will speak to the importance of interconnectivity and collaboration within the research community and more throughout the event.
