The future of Barrie is growing - right here on campus.

Thanks to an additional $2.5M investment from the City of Barrie, Georgian is accelerating the renewal of our Barrie Campus and expanding the talent pipeline that local employers depend on. The announcement happened during the Government of Ontario’s unveiling of a new framework for its defence industrial strategy, connecting Georgian’s work to growing opportunities in advanced manufacturing, defence, technology and skilled trades.
This means more modern, industry-aligned spaces for students, and a stronger workforce ready to power high-growth sectors like advanced manufacturing, defence, technology and skilled trades.

Together, we’re building Barrie’s future, including strengthening our role as a military-connected college.
