Our Quran Tajweed course is coming to an end, The Mount Muslim Student Association would like to announce that a new course has now been drawn up. The accommodations have been secured and the course will begin in January along with the new semester. The course could be any one of the following:
A- Hadeeth
B- Stories of the prophets
C-Stories of the quran
D-or a new Tajweed course

If you have a preference or idea please contribute. The course will be OPEN TO EVERYONE. The course will be held in EVARISTUS at Mount Saint Vincent University, Room 316 and will run until Feb.

اقتربت علينا الاختبارات فالنتذكر أن التوفيق من عند الله... فالنحرص على ذكر الله و حمده، ولا نكن كمن نسو الله فأنساهم أنفسهم.

The exams are closing in very fast, don’t forget that success comes from Allah, so make sure to remember Allah in everything you do, and lets not be like those who forgot Allah so he made them forget themselves.

اللهم اني اسألك فهم النبيين و حفظ المرسلين و الملائكة المقربين، اللهم اجعل لسناني عامر بذكرك، وقلبي مليئ بخشيتك، و سري بطاعتك، إنك على كل شيء قدير، حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل.

Duas studying:
Before studying ...
O Allah! I ask You for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers, and those nearest to You. O Allah! Make our tongue full of Your remembrance, and our heart full of your consciousness, our secrets full of your obedience. O Allah, You do whatever You wish, and You are my Availer and best of aid. Protector and the best of aid.

بعد المذاكرة:
اللهم اني أستودعك ما قرأت و ما حفظت و ما تعلمت فرده عند حاجتي اليه، إنك على كل شيء قدير، حسبنا الله و نعم الوكيل.

After studying:
Oh Allah, I entrust You with what I have read and what I have memorized and I have studied. (Oh Allah!) Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. (Oh Allah!) You are able to do anything, and You are my Availer and Protector and the best of aid.
يوم الإمتحان:
اللهم إني توكلت عليك، و سلمت أمري إليك لا ملجأ و لا منجا منك إلا إليك.

On the exam:
O Allah, I have relied on you, and I have submitted my matters to you. There is no protection or saving from you except by returning to you.

عند دخول القاعة:
ربي أدخلني مدخل صدق، أخرجني مخرج صدق، واجعل لي من لدنك سلطانا نصير.

Upon entering the hall:
O Allah, grant me an entry with truthful intentions and an exit with truthful intentions, and grant me power from you that gives me success.
قبل البدء بالحل:
ربي اشرحلي صدري، ويسر لي أمري، واحلل عقدة من لساني يفقهو قولي، بسم الله الفاتح، اللهم لاسهل إلا ماجعلته سهلا وأنت تجعل الحزن متى شئت سهلا يا أرحم الراحمين.
Before starting the solution:
O my Sustainer, Open up my heart and make my task easy for me, and loosen the knot from my tongue so that they might fully understand my speech. O Allah, nothing is easy but what you make easy, and you can turn a mountain into a plain if you want to oh most merciful.
اثناء الإمتحان:
لا اله الا انت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين، يا حي يا قيوم برحمتك أستغيث إن مسني الضر إنك أرحم الراحمين.
During the exam:
No one has the right to be worshipped but You O Allah, I have been of the wrong-doers. You are The Everlasting Eternal, I ask you in your mercy to save me if harm comes near me, you are the most merciful.
عند النسيان:
اللهم ياجامع الناس ليوم لا ريب فيه اللهم اجمع علي ضالتي.
When Oblivion:
O Allah, you will gather people on a day which there is no doubt. O Allah gather for me what I have forgotten/lost.

الحمد لله الذي هدانا لهذا وما كنا نهتدي لولا أن هدانا الله.
After completion:
Praise be to God who has guided us to this we would not have been guided to and this if Allah did not guided us.

With blessing of Allah the prayer space in seaton has become very small and unaccommodating. For this reason the President of the Mount Muslim Student Association (Samer Ebotoke) and the President of the Student's Union (Paul Whyte) are now engaged in negotiations with Mount Saint Vincent University in hopes of securing a NEW more suitable "bigger" room for students to preform their mandatory 5 prayers a day.

Due to higher than anticipated number of participants the Quran Tajweed Class has been relocated to room 316 in the same building as the peace room (Evaristus). EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN... (Sundays 1:30- 3:00pm)

This Sunday Nov 9th we will be having cake, donuts, tea, coffee and lots of treats right after Quran reading and Tajweed class.

Class is open to all mount students and NON-Mount student. So please feel free to join us in learning and refreshing our memories on how to read our Quran beautifully and correctly.

Location is: Mount Saint Vincient University, Evaristus Room 410C "Peace Room"
Time: 1:30 - 3:00

Asalamu alikum:
Dear bothers and sisters, we have hired brother Abdullah Esse to give the Quran reading and Tajweed class's. Join us every Sunday as we discover or refresh our memories on the correct ways to read the quran. The course is OPEN TO ALL.
The course is 2 months long, the Fees are now FREE thanks to an anonymous brother who has pledged to pay the enrollment fees for all participants. (may allah bless him and grant him mercy)
The one time fee (NOW FREE) will cover all material for the duration of the course, snaks, and parking. The course is 2 months long.

Location: Mount Saint Vincent University, Everistus room 410C
Time: 1:30 pm to 3:00pm

Dear bothers and sisters, starting SUNDAY OCTOBER 26th Qumran Reading and Tajweed class will start.
It will be held every Sunday, the time has not been determined yet so if you would like to sign up and have a preference please feel free to contact us and let us know.
The course is $15.00 to all MSVU students and $20.00 if your not. The one time fee will cover all material for the duration of the course, snaks, and parking. The course is 2 months long.
