As many of you know, this year's charity is the Moosehide Campaign, a grassroots charity aimed to end domestic violence among women and children in both aboriginal and non-aboriginal communities. In order to help support this charity, the DeGroote team is running an online challenge with half of the proceeds going to the Moosehide Campaign and the other half going to support our journey to Nanaimo, BC for the MBA Games competition.

BIG ANNOUNCMENT!

The Vancouver Island University MBA Games Organizing Committee(MGOC) is proud to announce that officially for the first time in 30 years in the MBA Games, that we have a matcher! The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation which is one of the largest foundations in Canada will be matching all funds raised by MBA Schools across Canada for the MBA Games 2017 up to $150,000. Funds will be used to support the Moosehide Campaign and the MBA Games in launching its new National Signature Initiative "Safe Space, Safe Place".

In addition, the MBA Games 2017 Tentative Schedule is now released. Please see attached!

The MGOC wishes everyone the best of luck in preparations for the competition and we hope to see you all at the MBA Games from January 2 to 4, 2017! Please stay tuned for competition packages to be distributed within the week.
