MEET THE PSU 2026–2027 AT-LARGE REPRESENTATIVES! 💙✨

Last, but certainly not least, in our Meet the Team series are our lovely At-Large representatives!

Megan, Radha, Ah Rin, and Akbar support the executive team with a variety of tasks, responsibilities, and projects throughout the year. They also step in to attend meetings on behalf of the SFSS, EDI, or FASS Representatives when needed, helping ensure PSU students always have a voice at the table! 💪

It is thanks to the hard work and efforts of these four that the PSU is able to carry out its projects and initiatives throughout the year! We are so lucky to have them as a part of our team! 🙏🙏

MEET THE PSU 2026–2027 REPRESENTATIVES! 💙✨

Next up in our Meet the Team series are our amazing FASS, SFSS, and EDI representatives!

First up is our Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Representative, Asha! She regularly attends all of the DSU and SASS meetings, acting as our liaison and ensuring that all parties are informed about any relevant updates, projects, engagement initiatives, and other important information that helps to keep the PSU running smoothly! 🏃‍♀️⭐️

Next is Afra, our SFSS Representative, who, similarly, regularly attends SFSS Council meetings to ensure that the PSU is updated on all relevant information discussed. She is also in charge of advocating for the PSU’s needs and carrying out the duties outlined in SFSS’s Policies and By-Laws 🎉

Finally, our Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (EDI) Representatives, Saniya and Tsedenia, work hard to ensure that students from all backgrounds and experiences are represented and supported. They bring student concerns regarding equity, inclusion, and diversity to the JEDAI Group meetings and bring back important updates from them to the PSU team, allowing us to make sure we are able to help and connect with as many diverse students as possible! 💙✨

Together, our representatives help make sure PSU students are heard, informed, and represented both within and beyond the Department of Psychology! 💙

MEET THE PSU 2026–2027 EVENTS TEAM! 💙✨

Next up in our Meet the Team series are the people behind all of PSU’s events, and opportunities to bring psychology students together! 🎉

Leading the events team are Khushmin and Wai, our Vice Presidents of Events! From brainstorming ideas to organizing all the little details behind the scenes, they work hard to bring PSU events to life. Whether it’s a social, a study session, or one of our bigger events, they help make sure everything comes together and runs smoothly! 🗓️💫

A huge part of what makes PSU so special is creating opportunities for students to connect, meet new people, and feel more involved in the psychology community — and Khushmin and Wai are the ones helping make those moments happen! 💙

MEET THE PSU 2026–2027 MARKETING TEAM! 💙✨

Next up in our Meet the Team series are the people behind PSU’s posts, reels, announcements, and all things communication! 📣

Head of the promotions team are Haneen and Sydney, our Vice Presidents of Marketing and Communication! They are the creative minds behind all of our social media and advertising campaigns you see in the PSU! From filming and formulating reels, to designing posts, to responding to outreach, they ensure you always know what event is coming up next! 📸

Working alongside them are Chorouk and Ellie, PSU’s Marketing Coordinators! They help bring ideas to life and provide support where needed! Between helping to write captions and filming content, they’re an important part of keeping PSU connected and engaged! ⭐️

MEET THE PSU 2026–2027 CORE TEAM! 💙✨

First up in our Meet the Team series are the execs who help keep the PSU organized, connected, and ready for everything we have planned this year!

Leading the way are **Mia, our President, and Suhavi, our VP!** From planning events and coordinating with the team to taking care of all the little things that happen behind the scenes, these two are involved in just about everything. So much of what we do wouldn’t be possible without them! 🫶

Next is **Avneet, our VP Internal!** She helps keep everything within the PSU organized and makes sure our exec team stays connected and on the same page. She’s a huge part of keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes!

And of course, **Ella, our VP Finance!** She takes care of the budgeting and finances that help bring all of our ideas to life. Whether it’s event expenses, reimbursements, or making sure there’s room in the budget for the important things (aka food 🤭), she’s got us covered!

Hey PSU!👋 We’re excited to kick off the summer semester with Clubs Day!☀️⛱️ Come find us at Table 3 at the Convo Mall on Tues May 12 (tomorrow!!) and Wed May 13 from 11-2pm. Chat with us and learn about what PSU can provide to SFU’s psych students, such as upcoming events, resources, connections, and more.

We’re super excited to see you there! 💙
