With the mild spring showers continuing, Starry Nights is unfortunately cancelled for tonight, May 15. We hope to see you next week. Thanks as always to our friends at Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Vancouver for their support of Canada's biggest Star Party!

We've had some beautiful weather this week but unfortunately the clouds are rolling in and we will not be going ahead with Starry Nights tonight.

Exciting things are on the horizon thanks to a new gift from the Trottier Family Foundation! This new funding will help us expand our public outreach programming in addition to supporting astrophysics research at SFU.

While Artemis II is taking humans further than ever before, a new $2 million endowment will support new research at SFU Department of Physics on some of the farthest galaxies visible from Earth and the expansion of SFU's astronomy outreach programs:
