SFU Phonological Processing Lab

SFU Phonological Processing Lab We use eye-tracking in the visual world paradigm to investigate various questions related to child language acquisition and adult phonological processing.

The Phonological Processing Lab is a linguistics research lab at SFU headed by Dr. Ashley Farris-Trimble. Our research focuses on child language acquisition and adult phonological processing, and we primarily use eye-tracking in the visual world paradigm to examine real-time speech processing and word recognition.
