Construction on the South Campus Infrastructure Renewal project at BCIT has begun and is expected to finish in early 2029.

This is an important investment in creating a more accessible, sustainable and connected campus — with improved walkways, green spaces, infrastructure and student gathering spaces.

Thank you to the Government of British Columbia for supporting BCIT and investing in the student experience. These improvements will help create a stronger campus community for years to come.

More than 90 students from BCIT Business + Media collaborated with the BCIT ConnectHER Hub to develop AI-driven prototype apps that help address challenges faced by women and gender-diverse apprentices in the skilled trades.

The projects explored issues including workplace safety, injury prevention, childcare barriers, neurodiversity, and access to funding.

A great example of applied learning in action and of how technology can be used to create more inclusive workplaces.

34 BCIT students recently wrapped up an unforgettable journey at Walt Disney World in Florida through the Disney Cultural Exchange Program.

The program gives university and college students from around the world the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience at Disney Parks while building connections across cultures. 🌎🏰

BCIT welcomed 82 post-secondary students from Taiwan for its largest-ever summer training program, funded by the Taiwan Ministry of Education through its 2026 Global Pathfinders Initiative.

The customized, four-week training gave youth from diverse fields of study the opportunity to experience BCIT’s applied learning approach, while gaining cross-cultural perspectives that help them prepare for an increasingly global workforce.

AI is creating new opportunities for businesses — and BCIT students are getting hands-on experience exploring what those opportunities look like in practice.

Through business consulting projects, Business Information Technology Management (BITMAN) diploma studedents in the BCIT School of Business + Media are working with organizations to explore practical applications of AI, from automation and customer experience to AI readiness and governance.

The report’s findings align with BCIT’s long-standing record of strong employment outcomes achieved by graduates. This includes an employment of 95% for degree graduates and 99% for apprentice.*

The Rick Hansen certification program evaluates accessibility based on the lived experiences of people with disabilities affecting mobility, vision, and hearing.

With an overall score of 84.2%, BCIT TTSH demonstrated particular strength in its interior services and environment, building access, and indoor wayfinding and signage.
