SFU LangDev Lab The SFU Language Learning and Development Lab is a research group studying the learning and acquisition of spoken languages. language.

We explore the perceptual and cognitive basis of language learning. Our research focuses on infants acquiring their native language, as well as on children and adults learning their second (or third, fourth, etc.) Our research typically falls into one of the following themes: the contexts of language learning, language learning and auditory perception, and links between speech and perception production.
