Former CFL and USPORT Head coach

Greg Marshall brings more than four decades of elite football experience as both a dominant player and accomplished coach across the CFL and USports.
A former standout defensive lineman, Marshall played nine professional seasons with the Baltimore Colts and Ottawa Rough Riders, earning the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player award in 1983. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching, building an extensive résumé that includes defensive coordinator and assistant head coach roles with Saskatchewan, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Hamilton, along with a stint as head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2011.
Marshall has also made a lasting impact at the U Sports level, serving as defensive coordinator at Queen’s from 2014–17, where his units ranked among the OUA’s best, before becoming head coach of the Toronto Varsity Blues from 2018–23 and leading the program to back-to-back playoff appearances. Most recently, he coached the defensive line with the Ottawa REDBLACKS (2024) and Toronto Argonauts (2025), continuing a career defined by defensive excellence, leadership, and player development.

EDMONTON ELKS

Jordan Maksymic returns to Edmonton for a third stint, bringing a proven track record of offensive success across the CFL. Most recently, he spent four seasons as Offensive Coordinator with the BC Lions, guiding league-leading passing attacks from Michael Reilly (2021) and Vernon Adams Jr. (2023), while playing a key role in Nathan Rourke’s rise to CFL stardom and his 2022 Most Outstanding Canadian award.

A St. Albert product, Maksymic previously served as Edmonton’s quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator from 2016–19, helping oversee historic production from Reilly, including three straight 5,500-yard seasons and a CFL Most Outstanding Player award in 2017. His CFL journey has included stops in Ottawa and Calgary, beginning in 2006, and reflects a steady rise through the coaching ranks built on quarterback development and offensive innovation.

Vancouver College - Head Coach

Bryan Chiu, head coach of the Vancouver College Fighting Irish, brings an incredible resume to the sidelines. A former Montreal Alouettes standout (1997–2009), he won three Grey Cups — two as a player (2002, 2009) and one as a coach (2016). Chiu has also coached with the Argonauts, Redblacks, and BC Lions, and is inducted into both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and the BC Football Hall of Fame.

Hamilton native and McMaster grad Brent Monson has deep roots in the community, from playing at St. Thomas More to coaching with the Steel City Ironmen and Bishop Tonnos.
He launched his CFL career with the Stampeders in 2009, rising through the ranks to coach on both sides of the ball. Monson helped guide Calgary to two Grey Cup championships (2014 & 2018) while coaching stars like Juwan Simpson, Jon Cornish, and Alex Singleton. His leadership built elite defenders and championship-level units.

The Nanaimo native returns to the BC Lions, where his CFL coaching journey began from 2000–02, earning a Grey Cup ring in his first season while working with special teams and running backs.

Since then, he’s built one of the league’s most experienced special teams résumés, with stops in Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Calgary, and a Grey Cup win with Saskatchewan in 2013. Cory has coached across the CFL, U Sports, and even overseas with Poland’s Panthers Wroclaw.

A former UBC Thunderbird and 1997 Vanier Cup champion, Cory brings championship pedigree and decades of experience back to BC.

Pat DelMonaco enters his 12th season guiding the Stampeders’ offensive line and sixth as offensive coordinator, and his impact speaks for itself. Since arriving in Calgary in 2014, his units have anchored two Grey Cup championships, produced multiple CFL and West Division all-stars, and never finished lower than third in fewest sacks allowed.

From leading the league in rushing to keeping quarterbacks clean year after year, DelMonaco has developed all-star talent, navigated major injuries, and built one of the CFL’s most consistent and respected offensive fronts. His offence has powered record-setting seasons, including a league-best 562 points in 2022 and the CFL’s top rushing attack.
