Women in Business - University of Calgary Women in Business is a student-run organization that is dedicated to bringing together and empowering future business leaders at University of Calgary.

WiB aims to empower women pursuing careers in business and leadership roles. We are focused on developing and expanding personal and professional networks through various events, meetings and communication. Our club's vision is to spread the confidence, power and goal of greatness to the students of U of C, as well as create lasting friendships with like minded individuals.

Our biggest and most highly anticipated event is happening this March! Celebrating the end of another fantastic school year.

We will be hosting an evening filled with networking opportunities and inspiring presentations sponsored by RSM, Trans Mountain, Deloitte, and CPA Alberta.

The evening will start with a networking and cocktail reception where students and professionals can connect and socialize with one another before the formal event begins.

Throughout the night, three inspiring business leaders will give presentations. accompanied by a three-course dinner.

At the end of the night, we will announce the winners of our raffle prizes!!

Are you curious to learn more about investing? Come join the Women in Business/Women in Finance executive team, on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 from 6:00-7:30PM IN PERSON in MTH 139 HSB Trading Lab!

Individuals who attend will have the opportunity to learn more about the stock market and gain insight and advice from professionals with first-hand experience working in the finance industry.

There will be several opportunities to network, ask questions, and build meaningful connections!
