Having learned the basics of photogrammetry, Bruce is ready to assess applications of photogrammetry to crown faces, deposits, and downed avalanches. Interesting ones, of course. This follows from the ISSW 2014 paper with Dave Gauthier and Mike Conlan.

Last graduate student, Simon Horton, recently defended his PhD. Bruce is planning field studies on measurement techniques for snow surface temperature as well as applications of photogrammetry to crown fractures, deposits and avalanche mapping. Several recent graduates are working on publications.
