University of Calgary Chair of Christian Thought The Chair of Christian Thought's mission is to bridge the academy and faith communities.

The Chair of Christian Thought at the University of Calgary is an academic resource for the promotion of Christian Thought in the University and the larger Calgary Christian community. The Chair's mission is to bridge the academy and faith communities, bringing the academic study of religion to the communities and representing Christian interests by providing for the teaching of Christian Thought

in the university. The Chairholder undertakes all the normal activities of a university professor: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, research, and publication. The Chairholder also organizes community events such as lectures and symposia devoted to explorations of Christian Thought.
