A Time for Connection: Happy Mid-Autumn Festival from ACATCM

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a traditional celebration observed on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. Families and friends gather to admire the full moon, share mooncakes, and celebrate togetherness.

The round shape of the moon—and of mooncakes—symbolizes reunion and wholeness. It is a time to give thanks, reconnect with loved ones, and remember those who may be far from home.

At ACATCM, we are grateful for our students, faculty, alumni, and the wider community who bring our college to life. Whether this festival is part of your family traditions or something you are discovering for the first time, we invite you to share in its spirit of connection and gratitude.

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy Mid-Autumn Festival filled with warmth, joy, and good health!

It was a great pleasure to welcome Vice President Xiantao Tai and the delegation from Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine to ACATCM.

Over the past few days, our discussions have been open, practical, and highly productive. We explored many concrete opportunities for collaboration in education, clinical training, research, and academic exchange.

My sincere thanks to Vice President Tai and the entire delegation for travelling such a long way, and especially for the time, effort, and commitment they have devoted to building this partnership.

We look forward to moving forward together—turning our shared vision into meaningful action and making a positive contribution to our students, our patients, and the continued advancement of Chinese medicine.

ACATCM welcomed a delegation from Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine on September 15–16, 2026, featuring a pediatric Tuina lecture by Professor Xiantao Tai and a three-month graduate student exchange.

🥳 PAJAMA DAY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! 🥳

Our hallways were filled with cozy style and incredible generosity this week! A massive thank you to all our students and families for participating in our Pajama Day Food Drive.

You helped us fight hunger in our community by donating a massive amount of non-perishable food items and even some cash donations for the Calgary Food Bank. Seeing our students learn the power of giving back while rocking their PJs was truly heartwarming.

Thank you for being a school community that cares. Together, we are making a real difference! ❤️
