Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Our Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) students put their knowledge and creativity to work today with their Transducer Project!

From understanding ultrasound technology to exploring how transducers play a vital role in diagnostic imaging, this hands-on project was a wonderful opportunity for students to turn classroom concepts into practical learning.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. Keep asking questions, exploring new ideas, and challenging yourselves. Every step brings you closer to becoming skilled healthcare professionals!

A special thank you to Elio Alcindor, their dedicated instructor, for his continued guidance, encouragement, and commitment to making learning engaging and meaningful.

The MCG team took on the TIES Climb Strong Challenge and climbed the Calgary Tower in support of an incredible cause!

We’re proud to support The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) and the important work they do to empower newcomers and help build stronger communities.
A great challenge, an even greater cause, and definitely a few tired legs by the end!

One second, it’s right there. The next?
Absolutely nothing. Brain = blank.

When we feel stressed or suddenly put on the spot, anxiety can take up some of our working memory, making information we already know temporarily harder to retrieve.
So next time your mind goes blank during class, a presentation, or an interview — give yourself a second, slow down, and start with one thought at a time.

MCG Career College will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and will resume regular operations on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
