20 Years of Impact. One Unforgettable Celebration. The MCG Career College Class of 2026.
Our 2026 Convocation was more than a graduation. It was a celebration of our students, their families, our community, and 20 years of MCG Career College helping learners turn education into meaningful careers.
We were deeply honoured to welcome The Honourable Myles McDougall, Alberta’s Minister of Advanced Education, who delivered the keynote address and joined us in recognizing the important contribution regulated career colleges make to Alberta’s workforce and communities.
We were also privileged to celebrate alongside representatives from the Office of the Premier of Alberta, elected officials, and government representatives.
This year, we were especially proud to recognize some of the organizations whose work continues to make a meaningful difference in our communities. We had the honour of presenting awards to Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS), The Immigrant Education Society (TIES), and U-TURN Project in recognition of their continued commitment to supporting individuals, families, newcomers, and communities.
We were also incredibly happy to celebrate alongside representatives from the Centre for Newcomers and WTAL Nonprofit, organizations whose dedication to community building and creating opportunities closely reflects the values we hold at MCG.
Our sincere appreciation goes to all of our community and employment partners and the many organizations that continue to work alongside us to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and support people as they build their futures.

At the heart of this journey are MCG Career College founders Dr. Monika Gupta and Dr. Chander Gupta, whose vision, perseverance, and commitment to accessible education and healthcare have guided MCG for two decades.
From new national accreditations and industry recognitions to expanding into British Columbia through inFocus Film School, growing our healthcare impact through CGA Medical Imaging, and opening new doors through our wellness initiatives, MCG's story continues to grow.
But this day belonged to our graduates.
To every graduate who walked across that stage, every family member who supported them, and every instructor, staff member, employer, community partner, and leader who helped them get there: thank you.
