The Alternative High School was established by students, parents and other interested parties in Calgary in 1975. It operated as an independent school until it was taken over by the Calgary Board of Education in 1976. This page was created by myself, Ian Mark, in 2012 to commemorate all those who attended the school and played a part in its growth from 1975-1977
