Have stories of the past been lost in translation?

In her capstone project, Lois explores how pieces of Filipino heritage may have been lost in translation over generations, while examining how Tinguan and Igorot folklores challenge the idea of binary thinking. Through storytelling, culture, and history, she’s uncovering the complexity and nuance that traditional narratives often hold.
