Congratulations to the students of the University of Calgary
who competed in the Society of Petroleum Engineers PetroBowl competition this past weekend. Twenty teams battled on Saturday with the top eight teams advancing to the final knockout bracket that was held on Sunday.

Our students finished in the Top 4 in the North American Regional Competition and have qualified for the international finals in Dubai this upcoming September 2021!

A special thank you to Rita Fazyleva (Director of PetroBowl) for her hard work and dedication over the past three years to prepare for this! Your guidance, mentorship, and coaching lead the team to this great success - not seen since 2015.

Well done! All of us at Petroleum and Energy Society are very proud of you!
